Angie Gomez from CDI Named on CRN’s 2022 Women of the Channel List

New York – May 9, 2022 — Leading Hybrid IT Systems Integrator, CDI (Computer Design & Integration, LLC.), today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Angie Gomez, Vice President, Human Resources & Compliance, to its Women of the Channel list for 2022. This esteemed list honors the incredible accomplishments of female leaders in the IT channel. Those named on this annual list come from all corners of the IT channel — including vendors, distributors, and solution providers whose vision, expertise, and contributions make an impact on the industry every day.

By bringing innovative concepts, strategic business planning and comprehensive channel initiatives to life, these extraordinary women support partners and customers with exceptional leadership. CRN celebrates these women, who are so deserving of recognition, for their constant dedication to channel excellence.

“It is an honor to be recognized by CRN in this year’s Women of the Channel,” said Gomez. “I am humbled to represent women in IT, to represent CDI, and to be a representative of the HR community. Congratulations to all my fellow Women of the Channel award recipients.”

Mrs. Gomez previously worked as Vice President, Human Resources for Plan B Technologies, starting in 2006, and transitioned to a new role of Vice President, Compliance with CDI following their acquisition in 2020. Her HR skills were called upon less than a year later, as she took over as Vice President, Human Resources & Compliance for CDI.

In her current role, Mrs. Gomez is tasked with building an organization focused on culture and inclusivity. She works diligently towards building a community of engaged and empowered employees, while focusing on benefits and compliance. During her time with CDI, she managed the integration of hundreds of new employees through acquisitions and countless more new hires. Through her leadership and vision, the HR and Compliance teams have increased in both size, and skill. She led the charge in building an enhanced benefits package geared toward attracting and retaining an industry-leading workforce, including options like work location flexibility, reduced healthcare costs, and an unlimited paid-time-off policy.

“We are very fortunate to have Angie Gomez leading our HR and Compliance teams at CDI,” said Brian Jones, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, CDI. “Her leadership has been influential for us as we continue to grow and mature our organization. Successfully managing the integration of new team members from multiple companies is no easy task, and she has been essential throughout that process.”

“I have said it before – this is a people business. Building an organization of highly skilled, highly engaged employees is mission critical,” said Rich Falcone, CEO & President, CDI. “I can’t overstate how influential a great HR team is to any organization, and we thank Angie for her contributions to CDI.”

“We are proud to once again recognize the remarkable leaders on this year’s Women of the Channel list. Their influence, confidence, and diligence continue to accelerate channel success significantly,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “Their accomplishments will inspire others, and we look forward to witnessing their future contributions to the channel.”

CRN’s 2022 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/WOTC.
