Senior Account Executive – Core

We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our growing team!

Position Description:

CDI’s Hybrid Cloud Automation Framework GTM is growing fast, so to keep up with market demand we are looking for an accomplished sales professional to join our team of industry A-players. The candidate should have 5+ years of successful selling experience in the NYC/NJ market and is a tried and true self-starter, with a proven track record selling advanced technology solutions to commercial and enterprise organizations.

This position consists of generating demand and revenue across the following disciplines and vendors:

  • Advanced and Professional Services
  • Hardware/Software Reselling
  • Cloud and Managed (Annuity) Services
  • Networking, Wireless and Collaboration
  • Hybrid Cloud, Software Defined, Automation
  • IT Service and Operations Management
  • ServiceNow, Amazon, Azure, VMware, Cisco, Dell EMC, Palo Alto, Pure, Rubrik, AppDynamics and more

Role Requirements:

  • Ability to lead a matrix team of pre-and-post sales technical resources and subject matter experts to architect and deliver complex technology solutions and services
  • Ability to create and manage complex sales campaigns which includes hardware, software, cloud and professional services
  • Must have a demonstrable, influential network in the NYC/NJ region across customers and vendor/partners (ServiceNow, AWS, Azure, Dell EMC, Cisco, VMware, VCE, etc.) and industry background that will allow peer level conversations with C-Level executives
  • Must understand vendor/partner leverage model for lead flow and demand generation
