Sales Associate

This is an entry level sales position.

  • Partner with CDI NYC direct outside sales representatives for a peer-to-peer relationship
  • Must report to CDI NYC office daily and work closely with dedicated outside sales representatives
  • Map to CDI partner inside sales representatives where appropriate – may include travel
  • Make cold calls daily (100+) and send introduction emails to prospective clients
  • Set (60+) appointments quarterly for sales representatives
  • Record activity notes and opportunities in the CRM/list service system
  • Update status reports and submit timely as required
  • Attend tradeshows (vendors, user sessions, etc.) and group sales functions as required in the NYC area
  • Strong phone presence and high-volume dialing experience
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments as directed
  • Become subject matter expert on your specific service offerings via internal trainings
  • Qualify deals in person/on phone/first calls with deal qualification sheet in NYC
  • Work closely with CDI Marketing to leverage social platforms for demand generation
  • Leverage user lists, user groups, social meet ups, etc.
  • Desire to become fielded outside sales representative in future/open up own book of business
  • 2-year commitment
