Before stepping foot into CDI, I would have never in a million years considered a career working with IT. However, now my opinion has changed. It is a highly interesting industry that seems to constantly keep its workers on their feet.

Today, I was given a different way to approach my blog from my boss. He asked me to comment on a question, "what would life be like today if all of a sudden the computers stopped working?" First things first, a majority of us in the world might be a little more productive in our daily life.

If you were to talk to me a week ago, you could have called me a little spoiled. I'm referring to the old me that got annoyed when it took more than a second for my website to load. I would have said, "It's the 21st century, shouldn't we have the speed of the internet down pat by now?"

As we type away for hours on our computer each day, we save documents, upload photos, and send various emails. As easy as it is for us to click “Save” on our computer, who truly takes the time to think about where we are actually saving this document?
